  • from 15.09.2018 to 30.11.2018: 65.00 Euro
  • from 01.12.2018 to 31.03.2019: 75.00 Euro
  • from 01.04.2019 to 31.07.2019: 85.00 Euro
  • from 01.08.2019 to 13.09.2019: 90.00 Euro
From 11.09.2019 registrations will only be possible locally. No further online registrations or registrations by post will be accepted!

Online registration
You can register and pay in the comfort of your own home using the online registration form. Payment can be made by credit card, direct debit or bank transfer.
When registering online there is an option of taking out cancellation insurance, This ensures your start fee is reimbursed if you have to cancel due to illness or accident.

Registration by e-mail, telefax or post
Alternatively, you can also download the registration form, complete and sign it and return it by e-mail, telefax or post. Payment can be made by bank transfer.

Important notes
  • The copy of your payment confirmation must be sent to the organisers together with your registration form!
  • Your registration is only valid after successful transfer/payment of the registration fee.
  • The reference for bank transfers/payments should be “Registration fee Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run”. To avoid misallocation, please also quote first name, last name and date of birth of the participant/s.
  • Only completed registrations signed personally by the participant (excl. online registration) will be accepted. Registration over the phone is not possible.

Change of registration/cancellation
Any changes are only possible to 07.09.2019.

If you have taken out cancellation insurance (only possible with online registration), your start fee will be reimbursed.
If you have not taken out cancellation insurance you can submit a doctor’s note no later than 11.09.2019. In this case, the registration fee is not reimbursed, but can be credited for next year.

For a transfer of a start place to another athlete a fee of 25.00 Euro is charged.

Terms and conditions for participation

The 22nd Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run is an officially notified race recognized by the Italian athletics association FIDAL. It is open to all runners who have had their 18th birthday by 13.09.2019 and who fulfil one of the following conditions:

for runners from Italy
  • Member of the Italian athletics association FIDAL (membership card and doctor’s note must be submitted)
  • Or member of a specialist partner association: USACLI, ACSI, AICS, ASC, ASI, CNS Libertas, CSAIN, CSEN, CSI, ENDAS, MSP ITALIA, OPES, PGS, UISP, CUSI. These runners must also hold a Runcard EPS costing 15.00 Euro or a Runcard “Mountain&Trail“ costing 10.00 Euro. Further information at www.runcard.com (copy of Runcard, membership card and doctor’s note must be submitted)
  • Or amateur runner with a note from a sports physician confirming their fitness in accordance with Art.5-D.M.18.2.1982. These runners must also hold a Runcard costing 30,00 Euro or a Runcard “Mountain&Trail“ costing 10.00 Euro. Further information at www.runcard.com (copy of Runcard and doctor’s note must be submitted)

for runners from abroad
  • Membership of a club affiliated IAAF. (membership card or self-declaration)
  • or Runners who are not members of a club must present a doctor’s note (download form) and own a Runcard "Mountain&Trail" costing 10.00 Euro, more information at www.runcard.com

All documents must be valid on the day of the race and must be sent to the organiser no later than 11.09.2019, either by email to info@dreizinnenlauf.com or by post.

PLEASE NOTE: The start places are restricted to 1,000 runners! Registrations are considered in the order payments are received. It is therefore worthwhile to use the online registration option.

Further rules

Timekeeping chip
This chip is issued together with the start number. No deposit is payable for the chip. If the chip is not returned at the end of the race the participant will be invoiced 25.00 Euro.

Runners exceeding these deadlines will no longer be classified and cannot avail themselves of any services (refreshments, hygiene facilities, track marshals, timing, ranking, medals etc.)

Team ranking

Alongside the individual rankings there is also a team ranking. Participation in this ranking is free of charge. The teams consist of a maximum of 4 and a minimum of 3 runners with the same nationality and can be composed of members from any of the categories (women/men/juniors).
The three fastest runners are included in the ranking, which means the slowest of the 4 runners is discounted. The team ranking is the sum of the running times of the 3 fastest runners in the individual ranking.
The whole team can be registered directly online. Alternatively, teams can be registered on Friday, 13.09.2019 until 9:00 pm and on Saturday, 14.09.2018 until 8:30 am in the race office.

Combined ranking
There is also a combined ranking for those who register for the Drei Zinnen Alpine Run and the Drei Zinnen Ski Raid 2019. The 3 best male and 3 best female runners in the overall ranking in both races receive prize money.

Prize money and prizes

The total prize money for the 22nd Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run is 7,000 Euro. The best ten male runners and the best ten female runners receive cash and non-cash prizes. Every runner who completes the race receives a “Finisher” medal.
In case of emergency
In the case of bad weather conditions the organisers reserve the right to move to a short route (Val Sasso Vecchio, 11 km and 1300 m altitude differential) or to an alternative route (Sesto-Monte Elmo, 11.2 km and 750 m altitude differential). In case of dangerous conditions the organisers reserve the right to interrompe the race. In this case there will be no refund of the registration fee or prize money.

Insurance and liability
The organiser cannot be held responsbile for any loss, injury or damage to people or items, however caused. There shall be no liability for lost items. The place of jurisdiction is Bruneck/Brunico, Italy. In the event of my participation in the 22nd Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run 2019, I shall recognise the nonliability of the organiser for damages of any kind. I shall not make claims for damage or injury of any kind against the organisers and sponsors of the 22nd Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run 2019, nor against the relevant municipalities, landowners or their representatives. I agree that my registration data, photos and film footage of myself, as well as interviews, obtained in connection with the 22nd Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run 2019 can be used on the radio, on television, for advertising, in books, reprography, films, etc. without claim for remuneration on my part. By registering, I accept the processing of my data in accordance with the applicable privacy policy.

Accompanying vehicles and sports equipment
Private accompanying vehicles (motorised and/or non-motorised) and similar are not permitted. The use of aids and sports equipment (in particular poles) is not permitted.

The Südtirol Drei Zinnen Alpine Run places a high value on fairness! Disqualifications will be issued in the case of false personal information (name, date of birth) and for unsporting actions (such as avoidance of the time recording posts, shortcuts, support, use of aids, disregard of official instructions and doping). Passing personal start numbers to another person without following the official re-registration process is also not permitted.

Reclaims regarding disqualifications must be submitted in writing within 1 hour after the official end of the race.
In the first instance, they must be presented verbally to the referee during the race, the written complaints must be submitted to the Organizational Secretariat within 30 minutes of publication of the results, together with the fee of € 100.00.

For regulations not explicitly mentioned in these rules the terms and conditions of the international FIDAL regulations apply.

By sending the registration form the participant declares:
- to be in possession of the appropriate medical certificate as provided by the ministerial decree of 18/02/82. Failure to have such will lead to immediate disqualification. The Organisation also takes no responsibility for accidents or illness.
- to have a valid member card if part of a Club or Federation
- to have read the present Regulation
