Route description
From the start at Fischleinbodenhütte hut in Sexten the race leads to Talschlusshütte hut, then up to Zsigmondyhütte hut and Büllelejochhütte hut; time limit at this point – 3 hours. There the athletes remove the skins and race down to the Bödenseen lakes. Now they must shoulder their skis and hike up to Sextner Stein/Sasso di Sesto, where the fast descent to Talschlusshütte starts.
Arrived in the valley it’s time to put on the skis one last time for conquering a final ascent of over 50 meters.
The finish line is located at the Talschlusshütte hut (1,548 m).
